On Wednesday, February 6, the Forney Area United Way was the recipient of a $46,558.68 contribution from Smurfit Kappa North America. Smurfit Kappa, the largest private employer located in the city of Forney, has additionally been the largest contributor to the Forney Area United Way for more than a decade.
