KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas-—During May 22- June 4, 2017 the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office participated in the Texas Department of Transportation’s Click It or Ticket – Seat Belt Enforcement Program. During this enforcement period, 197 citations were issued for seat belt enforcement and 36 citations were issued for child safety restraint violations.
