• Forney’s annual Independence Day celebraton - Forney Community Park, 6 p. m. to 10 p. m.

Co-sponsored by the City of Forney and the Forney Parks and Recreation Department, this free family event offers fun at the park for all ages, concessions, a concert at the Spellman Amphitheater, and fireworks beginning at sunset.
