Ten students from the Forney High School band program participated in the 61st annual Texas A&M University Commerce Junior/Senior Honor Band that took place November 16th and 17th. Students were nominated by band directors Jarod Garica, Erin Funk and Riley Warren. Students were able to take part in master classes, perform in future TAMUC concerts and work featured clinicians. Students participating were Micah Elliot, Zak McCain, Casey McLean, Austin Bendele, Dominic Theriot, Brittney Leger, Gabriel Dexter, Emily Owen, Rainy Rigdon, Christian Pryor.
